Some businesses start with a carefully laid-out plan. Ours started with a heat press, a vinyl cutter, a lot of late nights, and an idea that had been hanging around since high school.

Believe it or not, back in 1998, Nathan wrote in his high school graduation book that his first dream was to become a comedian or actor. His second choice? Own a T-shirt shop.

Funny how life works out.

From a Home Office to Pataskala Customs

We're Nathan and Carolyn Snoke, the husband-and-wife team behind Pataskala Customs.

In 2018, we decided to take a chance on building something of our own. What started as a small home-based business making custom apparel for local customers, schools, teams, and businesses grew into something much bigger than we'd imagined.

We opened our storefront in Pataskala in late 2020, during a time when small businesses everywhere were facing some pretty big challenges.

It hasn't always been easy. There have been long days, unexpected obstacles, plenty of learning experiences, and more than a few moments of wondering what we'd gotten ourselves into. But through it all, we've kept creating, learning, and finding new ways to help our customers.

Today, we're proud of what we've built and grateful for the people, businesses, schools, and organizations who've been part of the journey.

We both grew up in Minerva, a small town in Northeast Ohio, where we learned the value of hard work, community, and relationships that last.

We made the Pataskala area our home in 2012, and it's where Pataskala Customs was born in 2018.

Over the years, we've had the opportunity to work with incredible people, businesses, schools, teams, and organizations throughout Central Ohio and beyond. While our capabilities and customer base have grown, we've never wanted to lose that small-town, personal approach to doing business.

We know what it takes to build something from the ground up because we've lived it ourselves. That's why we care so much about helping other businesses grow and supporting the community that's supported us.

More Than Just a T-Shirt Shop

While custom T-shirts may have been where the dream started, Pataskala Customs has grown into a full-service custom apparel, printing, promotional products, and creative design company.

We offer professional screen printing, direct-to-garment (DTG) and direct-to-film (DTF) printing, embroidery, promotional products, laser engraving, wide-format printing, banners, signage, decals, and graphic design.

With a combination of our own production capabilities and trusted specialty production partners, we're able to offer a wide range of custom solutions while helping customers choose the products and decoration methods that make the most sense for their projects.

We also create and manage custom online merchandise stores for businesses, schools, sports teams, organizations, and fundraisers.

From a single personalized gift to hundreds or thousands of branded products, we're here to help bring your ideas to life.

One of our favorite parts of this business is helping other businesses grow. We know firsthand how much work goes into building something from the ground up. That's why we love helping a new business turn its first logo into professional-looking apparel, or helping an established company create merchandise its employees and customers are excited to wear.

Sometimes a project begins with a fully developed design. Other times, it starts with a rough sketch, a conversation, or somebody saying, "I have this crazy idea..."

Those are some of our favorite projects.
